A Cessna Grand Caravan EX, N867LP, force landed at Salisbury-Rowan County Airport, NC (SRW) after suffering an engine failure shortly after takeoff.

Just before 7 AM this morning, crews from Locke Fire Department, Salisbury Fire, Bostian Heights Fire, South Salisbury Fire, Rowan Emergency Management, Rowan EMS, and the Rowan County Rescue Squad responded to reports of an inbound aircraft experiencing engine failure.
Upon arrival, responders found a single-engine fixed-wing aircraft that had slid roughly 100 feet off the end of the runway. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Huge thanks to all agencies for their quick and coordinated response.

The aircraft took off from runway 20 at SRW at 06:36 local time. Three minutes later the aircraft turned back to SRW and landed back on runway 20 at 06:43. The aircraft overran the runway and stopped in the grass, about 100 feet past the end of the runway.
